Private Firearm Training (Hourly)
Group classes are great, but maybe you’d rather learn at your own pace without an audience. We get it. Private training is just you (or you and a friend, your spouse, or your very brave sister), one instructor, and a plan built around what you want to learn. Up to 3 students per private session.
Zero experience? Wonderful. Start from scratch with us.
Maybe you’ve never held a firearm. Maybe you bought one and it’s been sitting in a drawer because you weren’t sure what to do with it. Maybe someone once handed you a gun, said “just point and squeeze,” and walked away. We will not be doing that. We start at the very beginning, go as slowly as you like, and explain everything in plain English. No jargon, no eye-rolling, no pressure to be good at it on day one. Every question is a good question, even the ones you think are silly. (Especially those. They’re our favorites.)
Training that fits you
No two students are alike, so no two sessions are either. Want to feel comfortable handling and loading your firearm? Improve your accuracy? Work on carrying with confidence? Get over the jitters of the first shot? Tell us where you are and what you’re after, and we’ll build the session around it.
Your instructor
Our rangemaster has been teaching people to shoot for a really, really long time. He has seen every nervous laugh and every “I’m sure I’m doing this wrong,” and he’s still delighted every time it finally clicks. Patient is his default setting. He also has dad jokes, and he will use them.
The details
Where: Our private access range, so no crowds, no strangers watching, no pressure.
When: Scheduled around your calendar, not ours. Add quantity of 2 for two hours etc and have a day and time in mind when you check-out. I will reach out to you to schedule ASAP.
Who: Just you, or bring a friend or family member to learn alongside you. This is for up to 3 people.
What to bring: Your firearm if you have one, ammo, and eye and ear protection. Not sure what to bring? Just ask and we’ll walk you through it.
How much: $25 an hour, that’s it. Keep in mind, that’s training time, not talking time. You will get your money’s worth.
