Texas License to Carry - Nov. 7, 2026
Sure, you could click through a slideshow in your pajamas with a cup of coffee. But deciding when, where, and how to carry a firearm is a big responsibility, and it deserves more than a “Next” button. Come learn with real humans, ask your questions out loud, and walk out feeling confident in your decision.
New to guns? Perfect. You’re in good company.
Maybe you’ve never touched a firearm. Maybe the last time you thought about one was a movie. Maybe you’ve been told it’s “not really your thing.” Guess what? It’s anyone’s thing who wants it to be. This class is for everyone, and a lot of our students are women and first-timers. Nobody here will roll their eyes, talk down to you, or hand you a gun and say “just figure it out.” Every question is a good question, including the ones you think are silly. (Especially those. They’re our favorite.)
Your instructor
Our rangemaster has been teaching people to shoot for a really, really long time. He has seen every nervous laugh, every “I’m sure I’m doing this wrong,” and every moment when it finally clicks. Patient is his default setting. He has also heard all the dad jokes, and he will tell them again.
The details
Where: Classroom portion in Midland. Live-fire portion at our private access range, so no crowds, no pressure, no audience.
When: 9am to 2pm. Plenty of time to learn it properly, and you’ll still be home for the afternoon.
What to bring: About 100 rounds of ammo. Bring extra if you like. Nobody ever complained about having too much.
Feeling nervous?
Totally normal. Almost everyone shows up a little nervous, and almost everyone leaves grinning. Take a deep breath. You’ll be fine, we promise. (And if you’re not, we’ll try again. That’s how teaching works.)
See you soon!
